About
MY BACKGROUND
Hi! I'm Jen and I am your current District 5 school board representative serving the East side of the county in the communities of Nolensville, Arrington, Triune, and College Grove. My two kids and I moved from Arrington to Nolensville where they attend 5th and 7th grade. I have served as room parent, on various PTO committees, and on the PTO board throughout their years in Williamson County Schools starting with the EC program at Pearre Creek through elementary at Trinity and now middle school at Sunset. I taught elementary school for 12 years before starting a business which my family and I grew from the ground up to the successful company it is today. Once my kids were in school full time and our business was thriving, I went to work for The Arc Tennessee so I could advocate for families and students with disabilities like my son. I have a passion for helping all students succeed and serving our public schools as they truly are the backbone of our community!

A VISION OF COLLABORATION
GROWTH
While Williamson County growth is leveling off, District 5 continues to lead the county in growth. During our last rezoning in 2022, I worked with WCS staff to engage with families in the community early and frequently so they would be part of the planning process. This resulted in one of the smoothest rezonings to date.
PROACTIVE PLANNING
Whether it's rezoning, strategic planning, or problem-solving solutions to issues like our bus driver shortage, I have worked hard since being elected in 2020 to collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure we are considering all possibilities and communicating options in a proactive and transparent way.
THE FUTURE
Our students should be the main priority for any school board member. Every student deserves to graduate Williamson County Schools with a feeling of readiness for a future filled with possibilities.
